Photos - Surprises - Signs (continued)
Camperdown
They say that the old dork who's walking all the streets is not too bright.
We'd better put up some signs to help him when he does Fitzgerald Street, Camperdown.
Canley Vale
New motorists have driving tests, new posties have Canley Vale.
Canterbury
Canterbury Contras No 1: Everything
is covered in Canterbury Road – open and closing,
up and down.
Canterbury
Canterbury Contras No 2: Permitted
parking is not permitted in Mr Piano’s Clunes
Lane area.
Canterbury
Find the fine sign in Berna Lane, Canterbury.
Carss
Park
In Carss Park: If you give me your
supermarket shopping voucher, I won’t charge
you the extra discount.
Castlecrag
My two favourite signs are at the bottom of Edinburgh Road, Castlecrag.
They don't stop me from doing anything and they don't provide useless information.
Chifley

But we found a couple of things that they’ll
let you do in Chifley. |
Chiswick
Interview in Tutt Crescent, Chiswick:
'I need your restaurant name. Or the address first, if you want.'
'No Name.'
'Sure. Start with the name.'
'No Name.'
'I said it's OK to start with that. Could you tell me the first word of your restaurant name?'
'No.'
'Why can't you?'
'Why can't I what?'
'Go to the back of the queue.'
Chiswick
It's hard enough to spell the suburb Chiswick, let alone worry about street spelling.
Chullora
The original sign for this Chullora property in Anzac Street
probably read: “The contents of any bag or vehicle may
be examined before leaving”. We were impressed by the
addition of the first four lines: "It is a condition
of entry to this property that the person entering may be
requested to permit..".
